Job Description
The primary objective of the Lubrication Technician is to lubricate plant equipment and ensure lubrication units are in good working condition to improve plant performance and reliability.
What you'll be doing
- Responsible for the lubrication of all plant equipment.
- Record possible anomalies observed on equipment during lubrication.
- Monitor stock of lubricants and inform the Lube Supervisor weekly.
- Record the consumption of oils and greases dispensed.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety around the lubrication environment.
- Ensure safe storage and disposal of used/dirty rags.
Requirements
- UCDI, NTC/NBC-NABTEC, or N.D in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage.
- 2 years working experience in the same industry or any heavy industry operations.
- 1–5 years' experience in heavy engineering, including rotating machines.
- Equipment maintenance and condition monitoring experience in a refinery, power, or heavy process plant.
- Very conversant with cement plant equipment.
- Good understanding of technical standards and lubrication applications.
