Federal Government YouthCred for Entrepreneurs 2026 Now Open
The Federal Government, through the Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation (CREDICORP), has officially opened applications for the YouthCred for Entrepreneurs 2026 Programme.
This initiative is designed to provide affordable business loans to young entrepreneurs across Nigeria, helping them start, sustain, or expand their businesses.
Loan Amount
- Minimum: ₦200,000
- Maximum: ₦2,000,000
The amount approved depends on your business cash flow, credit behaviour, and repayment capacity.
Who Can Apply?
- Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Applicants must own or operate a business.
- Applicants must demonstrate responsible credit behaviour.
- Applicants must show evidence of business cash flow and the ability to repay the loan.

The programme is open to entrepreneurs in various sectors, including:
- Caterers
- Fashion designers and tailors
- Makeup artists
- Ride-hailing drivers
- Content creators
- Mechanics

- Other micro and small enterprises
